The interwebs are overflowing this evening with the latest news and notes, expectations and extrapolations from Intel’s ($INTC) second quarter report. Rather than bore you with rehashed commentary, let’s just check out the bare bones of what we think is most relevant…the numbers:

 YoY Figures:

  • Revenue +3.6%
  • Net income -4.3%

Sales by region…

  • Japan +2.1%
  • Asia-Pac +5.2%
  • Europe +5.6%
  • Americas -0.9%

Sales by group…

  • PC Client +4.4%
  • Data Center +15.1%
  • Other Intel Architecture -20.2%
  • Software & Services +14.7%
  • All other -14.9%

Unit volumes…

  • PC Client +7%
  • Data Center +4%

So there you have it, the basics. Now of course there’s a lot of other info to be taken into consideration such as company guidance and the vibes given off by management in the conference call, but the cold hard numbers above are a great place to start.

You can find a much more in-depth look at their Q2 in the Intel Newsroom.
